Thanks for posting this to the main page, Suri! This is… so… WEIRD! What comes to my mind is Michael Scott’s talking head in his improv class, when he says “I always go for the gun, because… well, you can’t top the gun.” Well, THIS tops the gun.
Would a similar music video with, uh… Phyliss top this? Possibly…
This not only tops the gun, it takes the cake as well.
If Phyliss shaking her groove thing is what it takes to get ratings up, then the show is doomed.
This is a fascinating “head-scratcher.” Did Leslie David Baker initiate this, or was he just approached to be the “star” in an… over-the-top, off-the-wall “production?” It would be different if Leslie was a bona-fide professional comedian, but I don’t think he is… to me, this is not just “pseudo-weird,” but truly weird; weird for weird’s sake, which from an artistic standpoint, is usually a good thing.
The pool party was fun to see, and worth watching over again. I laughed when I saw the Johnny Depp impersonator in a lounge chair… how weirdly weird.
