Suri, thanks so much for posting this provocative challenge. As you probably know, I LOVE this stuff! And the fact that the deadline is TODAY makes it even MORE of a challenge! Just plowing through all the endless rules and regulations and legalese of this contest is gonna take me MOST of what’s left of today! But I really enjoy creative brainstorming, even if almost nothing worth anything comes from MY “brainstorms.” ;-)

When I won the Dreyer’s Ice Cream Advertising contest, they flew us to San Francisco. From the hotel, all of us contest winners were taken by a bus to the ice cream plant. The bus was over-the-top decorated with colorful ice cream cone graphics. As I was boarding the bus outside the hotel, a large group of Japanese tourists began furiously taking snapshots and video of me. They obviously thought I was some kind of celebrity or bizarre rock star or something…

I’ll be thinking about possible Dunder Mifflin commercials for the rest of today… leaving me otherwise absent-minded. ;-)

Well… the deadline is here, and ALL of my ideas fall into THIS category: They are “so-bad-they-might-be-good-but-are-probably-bad.”

I could see Dwight borrowing his neighbor farmer’s broken down old horses, and trying to disguise them as majestic Budweiser Clydesdales, which would then be shown hauling Dunder Mifflin paper products across a fallow beet field… while some inappropriate heavy metal soundtrack blasts in the background.

    Bob,

I hope you made a pitch anyway, you can always tweak it later. Maybe the extended the deadline because this just popped up on The Office’s FB page today, so there might still be hope. E-mail Kevin, maybe he can help.

    Good luck!
