Rainn Wilson is costarring in a new movie, Juno, scheduled for limited release in the US this weekend. It’s already premiered at several film festivals and won a couple awards. I’d go see it even if Dwight weren’t (apparently) playing a quirky coworker; it’s directed by Jason Reitman (of Thank You For Smoking fame) and also stars Michael Cera, Jason Bateman, Jennifer Garner, J.K. Simmons, and Allison Janney. How could it be bad?

[Bonus indirect Office link! The TV commercial, which for some reason is hard to find on Youtube, uses the song "Be Gentle With Me" by The Boy Least Likely To. The adorable music video for that song features Rashida Jones.]

I just wanted to share my Office moment of the day with everyone out there in internet land!

I recently started working in the office of a restaurant in a sort of catch-all position–part PA, part party planner, part webmaster, part complaints-hotline. Today when I came in to open the restaurant, one of our distributors was waiting to drop off a shipment of wine, and he asked me if I was the new manager. I said “No, I’m more the assistant to.”

He replied, “Oh, so you’re their Dwight?” Made my day.

What’s that you say? You don’t care about my personal life? Fine, watch this nifty little Heroes/Office crossover video, courtesy of andemarg. NBC solidarity!
