John Krasinski on The Tonight Show

Friday, December 18th, 2009

I meant to post this yesterday as a reminder to tune in to The Tonight Show last night as our very own Jim Halpert was a guest on Conan O’Brain’s couch. Although not in character, we were treated to some very funny Jim faces as well as a unique Marrionette impression, which I believe should be added to John Krasinski’s resume as one of his many talents. We also get a sneak peak at his new movie It’s Complicated opening next Friday. In case you missed it, here are the clips.

Enjoy ~

Craig Robinson interviewed by “AV Club”

Friday, January 9th, 2009

AV Club recently interviewed Dunder-Mifflin warehouse worker extrodinare, Darryl (aka, Craig Robinson). Besides his work on The Office, Craig has been very busy lately with his stand-up, and his work in feature films. The interview covers alot of his extra-Office work, but there is also a nice bit of questions that are completely Office-centric. Below is a sample of those questions. And to read the full article, click below the cut.  ~Donna

AVC: Was Darryl originally conceived as a regular Office character?

CR: I think he originally was supposed to be on the sidelines. They created the character, so I don’t know what their thoughts were. They definitely created the character for me. After about three years, they made me a regular.

AVC: How did you feel about Darryl breaking up with Kelly?

CR: I was like, “What’s next for Darryl if he isn’t dating Kelly?” I’m fine with it, though, because these writers always have something up their sleeves. I never know what the story is going to be until I’m at the table read. I’m always looking forward to what’s next. (more…)

Interview with Ed Helms & Angela Kinsey

Friday, November 7th, 2008

In addition being in on a media conference call with Ed Helms and Angela Kinsey yesterday, Scranton Branch Office’s KP got to do a follow-up interview with Ed Helms! Such a lucky guy…:) Below is the interview posted from Scranton Branch Office. Enjoy! ~Donna

After yesterday’s media conference call with Angela Kinsey and Ed Helms, we were able to follow-up with Ed Helms for some topics that Ed only talked with ScrantonBranchOffice.com about.

SBO: Scranton is rumoring another possible Convention there next year. Since the first one was such a blast, would you be worried that a second one couldn’t meet that or would you be excited to see how it could be topped?

Ed Helms: I had such a great time at the first convention, if another one happens I have no doubt it will be great. But I wouldn’t worry about trying to top anything from the first one. Anytime you get a large gathering of Office fans you’re guaranteed a good time, plain and simple.

Happy Birthday Gene Stupinsky!

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008

LITO would like to wish Office writer/producer/actor, Gene Stupinsky, a very Happy 31st Birthday! Gene was kind enough to grant LITO an interview during the dark days of last spring’s Writer’s Strike. Most of you will remember Gene as one of Bob Vance’s delivery men in “Valentine’s Day” and “Drug Testing”.

This year, Gene has also added “screenplay writer for major motion pictures” to his impressive resume. The movie, “Year One”, starring Jack Black and Michael Cera (Superbad, Juno) is due out in theatres next June. Gene co-wrote the screenplay with Harold Ramis for the upcoming “biblical comedy”. So, here’s to you Gene! Have a wonderful birthday!  ~Donna

A Blog about NBC's "The Office". Because The Office is better than my office.
