Our Office peeps are popping up everywhere these days. I don’t know if anyone has gotten into this new show, spearheaded by the great Jerry Seinfeld, but it’s shaping up to be one of the funniest ‘reality’ shows on TV; touting along some serious star power. Last night our favorite Warehouse Manager joins OCD Game Show Host, Howie Mandel and the Divine Ms. M, Bette Midler to try and sway The Marriage Ref. See the full show here. Craig has some very interesting points of view.

Enjoy!

I meant to post this yesterday as a reminder to tune in to The Tonight Show last night as our very own Jim Halpert was a guest on Conan O’Brain’s couch. Although not in character, we were treated to some very funny Jim faces as well as a unique Marrionette impression, which I believe should be added to John Krasinski’s resume as one of his many talents. We also get a sneak peak at his new movie It’s Complicated opening next Friday. In case you missed it, here are the clips.

Enjoy ~

Jenna/Pam has a few new MySpace blogs up. In them she chats about her new bobblehead doll, The Emmys, and the most recent blog discusses the “Entertainment Weekly” magazine cover that everyone is gushing about. Included in that blog are three videos from the EW photo shoot. Jenna & John being just sooo cute! *sigh* Some spoilers for the upcoming wedding ep., so be forewarned.

Thursday, April 10th, as you know, is the long-awaited premiere of The Office’s new episode “Dinner Party”. But what you may not know is that it’s also Bobby Ray Shafer’s 50th birthday! He was kind enough to grant me an interview.

Donna: April 10th is not only the premiere of the long awaited Office episode, “Dinner Party”, but it is also a very big milestone in your personal life, your 50th birthday. How do you plan to celebrate?

Bobby: My idea of celebrating these days is having a baked potato with extra sour cream, so I’ll treat myself to one of those and watch ‘DINNER PARTY’ and be ecstatic like everyone else to see the Dunder-Mifflin gang back at it. As for the personal milestone, I think all the decade-birthday-numbers have more significance because I think as a rule we tend to stop and take a more detailed personal inventory and assessment; and so for me, now, just being BOB VANCE, VANCE REFRIGERATION is such a fun ride I don’t mind the passing of time at all. But boy, does it go FAST. Read on »

Writer Gene Stupinsky graciously allowed me to interview him recently for Life In The Office. He is the co-writer of some of your favorite Office episodes: “The Fight”, “The Secret”, “Michael’s Birthday”, “Women’s Appreciation”, “The Convention”, “Traveling Salesman”, and “The Return”. He has also appeared on-screen, playing a Vance Refrigeration delivery man (along with writing partner, Lee Eisenberg) in “Valentine’s Day” and “Drug Testing”. Read on »

Steve Carell has a new movie in theatres October 26th called “Dan in Real Life”. Here is the official web site for the movie.

Included in the site is an “Ask Steve” section. Ever wanted to know what inspires his comic genius? Or, how long he’s been doing it? That’s what she said! ~sorry, I couldn’t help myself! lol

Well, now you can find out what you’ve always wanted to know about Steve. I scrolled through the questions, and some of them were Office related, so go nuts people! Submit your questions, and find out your answer on October 8th.

Donna mentioned earlier about Entertainment Weekly’s articles and photos that just hit the newsstands. I was pretty pumped to pull my issue out of the mailbox today. (I had to keep it under my hoody to keep it from getting snow on it. There is a crazy late September snow storm that is hitting northern Utah right now…)

EW.com has posted some great video clips of some of the cast members giving their personal predictions about season four. The first was Rainn and Angela talking about their on screen relationship, and Rainn’s Emmy nomination.

You can find the video here.

John and Jenna’s video was really fun watching their personal interaction. Jenna answers a phone as Pam, and talks about the journey the writers had her go through over season three.

John and Jenna’s video can be found here.

www.ew.com has two articles on The Office. The first one titled ‘Working Overtime’ can be found here. The second one ‘Water Cooler Talk’ can be found here. They also have two very good interviews with Jenna and John and Angela and Rainn. P.S. My name is Gabasha and I am very excited to be a new writer here at LITO. The Office is my obsession and I am happy to be involved in such a great website!

Thank you to Craig Robinson, who plays Darryl on “The Office,” for granting LITO an interview. For those of you who haven’t seen Knocked Up, Craig has a hilarious cameo in the movie.

Craig Robinson, NBC's

Life in the Office: We here at Life in the Office love episodes with lots of Darryl time. Any hints you can give us about upcoming season?
Craig Robinson: They don’t tell me anything so until I read the script I am as in the dark as you.

LITO: Why is Darryl so patient and forgiving with Michael?
CR: Darryl is a good man and who has been through worse than Michael, so he knows Michael is harmless and is humored by him, yet he understands he must keep an eye on Michael because Michael will unknowingly cross the line.

LITO: What is your favorite “Office” moment?
CR: My favorite Office moment is when Michael and Darryl are sitting quietly in “Negotiation” for like 10 seconds. It is my favorite because when we shot it I was able to keep from laughing on the first take, if you look closely you can see me smile for a millionth of a second.

LITO: We have noticed that you have a lot of upcoming projects! Can you share any details about them with us?
CR: Knocked Up just came out and I have a cameo in that and I have seen some Office fans give me great compliments. Thank You. It means a lot. I have been told a sci-fi action movie I did, D-War, with Jason Behr of Roswell fame is coming out later this year and I will appear in Walk Hard with John C. Reilly. And of course, the Office. As far as details, I am having the time of my life and am humbled and honored to be a part of this amazing show with these amazing fans. Some have even come to see my stand up shows and I just truly appreciate your support and so does everyone on the show. Thank you.

A major thanks to Craig for interviewing with LITO! Be sure to check out his hilarious cameo in “Knocked Up,” in theaters now!

First off, I need to express how wonderful David Denman is!! Despite computer glitches (he tried to send his answers to my questions three times before they got through), international flights, and an insane shooting schedule, he got back to all of my questions and was super-polite and friendly about everything.

LITO: Congratulations on completing a triathlon AND raising over $5,000 for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS foundation. Any plans for future triathlons/fundraisers?

David Denman: Thank you so much for all the support. I had so much fun training for the first Triathlon I’ll definitely be doing it again. I’ll be doing the Nautica Malibu Triathlon on Sept. 16th. This time I’ll be raising money for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Hopefully I can raise another $5000.00 for this great cause. People can donate here

LITO: Do Pam and Roy belong together?

David Denman: I don’t know if “belong” together is the appropriate word. I don’t think the show is set up for them to belong together, but I would like to see them end up together. I know you all want Romeo and Juliet to get together, but trust me that will just get boring. Roy is the guy you love to hate and hate to love. What could be more entertaining then that?
