I just wanted to mention that I was watching the first season of Curb Your Enthusiam with my dad tonight, and Oscar had a minor role!
It was the interior designer episode, and he was a parking attendant who gets into a bit of a fight with Larry. I wasn't sure it was him, because he had a Mexican accent, and I'm used to him with an American one. But it was! I was so excited.

I love that show. I think Kelly was also on it as a receptionist. _________________ Team Karen |

Isn't it hysterical? I would pick The Office over it any day, but I still love it. I bought it for my dad for Christmas, but so far he hasn't been that impressed. These days, if it's not 24 it's hard to interest him at all. Although I got quite a few chuckles out of him when I forced him to watch The Dundies. Promising signs.

Just give him some time and next thing you know he will be an addict like the rest of us here! Have you seen the episode of Curb Your Enthusiam where Larry picks up a hooker so he can use the carpool lane and get to the basketball game or something like that on time? I will carry that with me to my grave. It is impossible for me to get in a carpool lane without thinking of that. _________________ Team Karen |

No, what season was that? It sounds like classic Larry! Hilarious.
We have season 1 and 2 on DVD, and I saw most of season 5 on TV. My favourite episode from season 5 was that one with Jesus and the nail from 'Passion of the Christ'. I cried watching that. Just perfect.
I think that was also the season when Larry was convinced that the weather man was giving fake reports so he could have the golf course to himself. And the old people's home Bingo disaster. Oh, I love this show.

I think that when I got addicted to the show it was when season 5 was on TMN on demand so I'm pretty sure that the carpool one was in 5...maybe 4. And yes!!! I LOVED the one with the nail from "The Passion". The one with the fake weather reports sounds familiar so I guess that's season 5 too. And the Bingo one was on the other day. And the one with Yochi, son of hte kamikaze fighter, or something like that. Larry inviting the pedophile to seder is another classic! I would love to watch all of the seasons cause I know I have a lot to catch up on. _________________ Team Karen |

Season Five was so good!! I've become a little obsessed with this show lately. I can't stop watching. You know, I had no idea it was unscripted!! It always felt different somehow to other comedy shows, but I attributed it to the camera work or something. I feel really stupid for not realising before. But I guess haven't been watching for long.
Richard Lewis has become my favourite character. I didn't used to think much of him before, but now somehow he just seems hysterical. Love him!

I had no idea it was unscripted but I am not surprised. Yes, Richard Lewis is GREAT! But Larry is still my favourite. hmm...I wonder if I can still find this show on TV. I haven't seen it in a while. _________________ Team Karen |

I love Curb. I got a set of seasons 1-4 a couple years ago for Christmas, and then when it came out got season 5. Amazing stuff.
I love the episode "Trick or Treat". Very funny.
Wanda Sykes character on CYE is hilarious. The character interaction between Wanda and Larry is so funny. _________________ "Oomp-a-Loomp-a-Doompity-Dawesome, Dwight is now gone which is totally awesome.
