After a slow start this episode ended really well. I enjoyed the team spirit that came from wanting to see Andy get an ass tattoo. Lol... And they turned it into a cool thing. The thing I liked most about it? They found a cool thing for Andy to do that Michael Scott would never in a million years have done. They found a way to stand Andy out.

Yeah, in the end... Andy's "end." Let me tell ya, I was watching the episode full-screen on my computer, and I got to see Andy's fleshy buttocks a little too closely, as "Nard Dog" was revealed. Shocked

There were a few "bumps" in this episode that kept me from liking it as much as the premier; I didn't like the cold opening, which sometimes takes me a while to recover from. But overall, I think the series is pointed in a good direction. The writers are making Andy's transition to management very interesting. Now, what is up with Darryl meeting with his ex? Was that just... Think ... random?

I'm glad you said that, Bob! I forgot to mention my confusion about that. That whole subplot felt like a scene was left out. I instantly thought his ex was up to something, roping Daryl in to lower the boom on him. She still may be... but it just ended. And when you saw Daryl afterwards he seemed annoyed. Like we missed something. Weird. Maybe something will come of it later...

All through the off-season, the new DM regional manager was rumored to be either Andy or Darryl. I would have been fine with Darryl, as he is a strong member of the ensemble. Craig Robinson brings a lot to the party as an actor and a comedian, who can play his character as complex and conflicted. I suspect The Office is going to begin to showcase him more now, although this was an odd opening moment. If it was supposed to be a "teaser," I think they could have edited it better. Maybe more will be explained in a deleted scene.

Hello all, I'm baaaccckkk!

Joss assigned me a password and so, here I am again!
I hope this will be the end of my LITO issues for a while.
I've missed you all and am glad to be back at the LITO-party (exclusive though it may be). Wink

I agree that this episode was not as stellar as the premiere, but what are you gonna do? The Kevin cold-open, and Darryl's bit were...uninspired. Here's hoping that Darryl's dangling thread leads...somewhere. Where? Who knows? I can't imagine Darryl and this unknown ex-wife character all of the sudden remarried (or gasp!) preggers again! Could we stand 3 pregnancies this season? I think not! Hat tricks are only for hockey, Office writers! Shame on you

I think I'm really starting to enjoy Robert California. He's the perfect fit for our Nard Dog. Andy's management style is evolving quickly, but still leaves alot to be desired. Robert is like the Master Po to his "Grasshopper"(yes, I am using a "Kung Fu" reference here!) Dancing He's imparting to him the wisdom of the sensei. Let's see if Andy can make any sensei-sense of the whole thing!

And it's great to have you back! You make a lot of good points, too. I'm also liking Robert California's act, and Andy's on-the-fly management, and several other new dynamics that are unfolding. And I'm sure Darryl will be featured more soon enough, with this latest entanglement with his ex. The Office ensemble is a strong team, and they're off to a good start.

Oh yeah, it's good to have you back. Laughing There may not be many LITO-ites, but I think of this place as kind of a "Finer Things" club. "Sensei-sense?" Now, that's a finer thing.

Cool

While I still love The Office, alot of my enjoyment of the show comes from my interactions on LITO with you all. Here's hoping the rest of the season is more like "The List" and less like "The Incentive".

Same here.
"The Office" became way more special to me because of the LITO connection. I don't imagine that will happen again, at least not for me. I really can't see myself involved in another online community, having heated discussions about Ashton Kutcher's "Two And A-Half Men" debut. Confused

Here's hoping that this season of "The Office" will be at least... Think ... interesting enough to keep LITO going. I think it will. Smile

Stuff like "Sensei-sense" makes me laugh as much as the show does, and that's a good thing. A finer thing. Dancing

Yikes, I missed the whole week practically.. hey, Donna! I'm glad to see you! Only Donna would make a hockey and Kung Fu reference in the same post. And refer to Craig Robinson dangling thread... Shocked lol... I thought Bob would jump all over that one!

Yeah, I still enjoy the show but I really enjoy talking about an episode, good or bad, with you guys. What's gonna happen when the show ends? Do we even agree in another show? Lol...

Me too!
I've heard Breaking Bad is a great show. There's just not enough hours in the day to watch all the great shows, and that's good, right?

Mad Men is another one I've always wanted to catch up on, but haven't had the time.
