Yeah, in the end... Andy's "end." Let me tell ya, I was watching the episode full-screen on my computer, and I got to see Andy's fleshy buttocks a little too closely, as "Nard Dog" was revealed.
There were a few "bumps" in this episode that kept me from liking it as much as the premier; I didn't like the cold opening, which sometimes takes me a while to recover from. But overall, I think the series is pointed in a good direction. The writers are making Andy's transition to management very interesting. Now, what is up with Darryl meeting with his ex? Was that just... ... random? |

All through the off-season, the new DM regional manager was rumored to be either Andy or Darryl. I would have been fine with Darryl, as he is a strong member of the ensemble. Craig Robinson brings a lot to the party as an actor and a comedian, who can play his character as complex and conflicted. I suspect The Office is going to begin to showcase him more now, although this was an odd opening moment. If it was supposed to be a "teaser," I think they could have edited it better. Maybe more will be explained in a deleted scene. |

Hello all, I'm baaaccckkk!
Joss assigned me a password and so, here I am again!
I hope this will be the end of my LITO issues for a while.
I've missed you all and am glad to be back at the LITO-party (exclusive though it may be).
I agree that this episode was not as stellar as the premiere, but what are you gonna do? The Kevin cold-open, and Darryl's bit were...uninspired. Here's hoping that Darryl's dangling thread leads...somewhere. Where? Who knows? I can't imagine Darryl and this unknown ex-wife character all of the sudden remarried (or gasp!) preggers again! Could we stand 3 pregnancies this season? I think not! Hat tricks are only for hockey, Office writers!
I think I'm really starting to enjoy Robert California. He's the perfect fit for our Nard Dog. Andy's management style is evolving quickly, but still leaves alot to be desired. Robert is like the Master Po to his "Grasshopper"(yes, I am using a "Kung Fu" reference here!) He's imparting to him the wisdom of the sensei. Let's see if Andy can make any sensei-sense of the whole thing!

And it's great to have you back! You make a lot of good points, too. I'm also liking Robert California's act, and Andy's on-the-fly management, and several other new dynamics that are unfolding. And I'm sure Darryl will be featured more soon enough, with this latest entanglement with his ex. The Office ensemble is a strong team, and they're off to a good start.

Oh yeah, it's good to have you back. There may not be many LITO-ites, but I think of this place as kind of a "Finer Things" club. "Sensei-sense?" Now, that's a finer thing. |

While I still love The Office, alot of my enjoyment of the show comes from my interactions on LITO with you all. Here's hoping the rest of the season is more like "The List" and less like "The Incentive". _________________ "Sandals Jamaica Mon" |

Same here.
"The Office" became way more special to me because of the LITO connection. I don't imagine that will happen again, at least not for me. I really can't see myself involved in another online community, having heated discussions about Ashton Kutcher's "Two And A-Half Men" debut.
Here's hoping that this season of "The Office" will be at least... ... interesting enough to keep LITO going. I think it will.
Stuff like "Sensei-sense" makes me laugh as much as the show does, and that's a good thing. A finer thing. |

Good question Kev!
(Even though I hate the idea of the show ending
It give me an idea
What are your favorite shows?
Besides The Office I mean
I'll start
Shows I like(random order):
-Dexter
-True Blood
-Boardwalk Empire
-Weeds
-It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
-Family Guy
-The Walking Dead
Shows I watch, but not regularly:
-Survivor
-Raising Hope
-Curb your Enthusiasm
-Hung
I'm sure there are a few shows I forgot. But for now, it's a pretty decent list. What shows do you watch?[/code] _________________ "Sandals Jamaica Mon" |

Me too!
I've heard Breaking Bad is a great show. There's just not enough hours in the day to watch all the great shows, and that's good, right?
Mad Men is another one I've always wanted to catch up on, but haven't had the time. _________________ "Sandals Jamaica Mon" |
