DISPATCH AND GUSTER! Yes! I love love love them both. I unfortunately never got to see Dispatch live, but I've seen Guster a few times. The last time was this past August, and Ray LaMontagne opened for them. Talk about the best concert ever..... _________________ You're evil, like a hobbit...
I remember it was very late at night, like 11, 11:30. Big fella comes in screamin' about God knows what. I think maybe Halpert had stolen his car. Something like that. So the big fella pulls out a sock filled with nickels. Then Schrute grabs a can of hairspray and a lighter--- |

I have wide ranging tastes, so my music faves list is constantly changing; however, Guster is the band that has the most staying power in my collection. Jimmy Eat World also shows up quite frequently.
I am currently listening to: Patty Griffin, Damien Rice, Magnet, Keane, Sufjan Stevens, the Last Kiss Soundtrack, Amos Lee, Ben Kweller, Ray Lamontagne.
Also, I spend waaay too much time and money on iTunes. _________________ You're evil, like a hobbit...

My stuff ranges, too.
Garbage (my all-time favorite)
Phenomenauts
Placebo
Tiger Army
Depeche Mode
The Cardigans
Metallica (pre-St. Anger)
...and way more. I would list them all but I don't think many people would pay attention, so I'll stick with this list until someone mentions another favorite of mine. _________________ Michael: Early worm gets the worm!

Fleece it out,
Question:
Is Plankeye still gone? Or did they make a comeback? I used to LOVE them. I spent many an afternoon doing my homework to "It's a perfect day, Jerome". I don't think I've heard much from them since '98 or so. And Waterdeep is a long time fav. I had some friends of mine play one of their songs at my wedding. _________________ I don't want Garbage, I want SPRINKLES! |

My favourite band of all time is U2. I've been obsessed with them since I was 14. An entire wall of my room is covered in U2 posters, photos and album covers. Favourite album is Achtung Baby - as far as I'm concerned, it's perfect in every possible way. If I could travel back in time, I'd go to the ZOO TV tour.
Anyway. Otherwise, I'm into more indie/alternative music. My second favourite band is Placebo, who I also saw live - the greatest concert of my life. Second row in the mosh pit, right in front of Brian Molko. I could have died and gone to heaven right then.
Bands/Musicians I LOVE:
Placebo
The Dandy Warhols
The Shins
Guster
Belle and Sebastian
Arcade Fire
Doves
Death Cab for Cutie
Muse
Nada Surf
Dappled Cities Fly
Howling Bells
PJ Harvey
Interpol
South
Spoon
Sufjan Stevens
Feeder
The Postal Service
Simon & Garfunkel
Ryan Adams
Mercury Rev
Modest Mouse
Bright Eyes
Beck
Elliott Smith
Damien Rice
and my guilty pleasures are Madonna and Gwen Stefani.

I am so insanely jealous of you. Guster don't even release in Australia - probably because I'm only one of about 5 fans here. I really, really hope I can see them one day... *sob*. It'll probably never happen... KEEP IT TOGETHER, Mia!
