Did anyone watch this last night on NBC?? I thought it was really good. They packed alot into one episode, but I found it easy enough to follow. Im looking forward to next week!

I'm with ya on that one.
I watched it for a little while...but I get addicted really easy. Then truthfully I spent most of the time trying to figure out if one of the brothers was on Home Improvement (my TV is quite fuzzy)

It's a really good show, watch it! (It especially picks up the later half.) We'll need all the viewers we can get! (To get the damn S60 fans off our backs... or they may get worse... ) Anyway... just watch it! (Please.)

I live in Canada, so I am in no way affiliated. 
A lot of people say that the timeslot is "cursed", or S60 fans have been wishing for it's failure, so I've been a little worried. (Also I haven't had to deal with the cancellation of shows that I like, and I do not want to start now!)

I watched it. I like it so far but I am waiting for something to "grab" me and keep me interested. At this point I haven't decided what it is that annoys me other than the cheesy intro - which is good until the bullets start.

I love the traditional Irish music, but after that there's too many shots. If it were maybe just three or four going off, I think it would be less cheesy. *shrug*

i saw the first episode, i really liked the narrator but i have a hard time keeping the brothers straight. like which name goes to who etc., maybe i shoudl watch more than one episode.

The next two episodes have a small recap at the start with arrows, so maybe that would straighten the characters out for you...

Holy crap! This show is FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!!! I disagree with anyone who wasn't sucked in our has anything negative to say (except for the fact that everyone's name is ___y). I now believe in love at first sight. I am enamoured with this show! I'm sorry...Stduio who? On the Sunset what? As much as I love Matthew Perry I very well doubt he looks as good stripped down as Tommy Donnelly does!! If I was one of those cheesy TV critics I'd say "Black Donnellys is a pot of gold!"
By the way, my dad stopped the recording of the last episode and I can't watch it on NBC so does anyone know anywhere else I can catch up online?

Thanks...I realise not ALL are ___y names...though Sean does go by Seany. And thanks forthte link though it doens't have the episode I was looking for, its good to know I can at least watch the pilot anywhere and everywhere I can get internet access.

Jeez, stab my back, woman who got me hooked on Studio 60. I find the Donnellys okay, not great. I saw the pilot and I really liked the ending but that was the only real part that drew me, and as a result I didn't catch the next couple of eps, I saw the one on monday and it just didn't capture my interest enough to keep watching. And as much as we like Joey Ice Cream right now, he's going to get very Very VERY annoying as the show progresses. I want Studio 60 back. |

Ok I admit...I would miss Studio 60..a bit...and I think it deserves its own time slot but I say TBD gets first pick! And I really odn't understand how it didn't draw you in...perhaps I just have an over-violent nature. And yes Joey could get annoying but my writing-trusting self will believe the best til the end that they can write him in a way that would stay fresh rather than irritating.

If/when Joey starts getting irritating, they'd probably just limit his narration screen time. As long as they don't get too over-the-top with him, they should be fine.
I was drawn in from the pilot, and I really can't understand not liking it.  But then again I never understood having any interest in S60...
