I took my son to see it, and I thought it was great. It was suitable for little kids, but it had enough to keep me laughing throughout. It's a little cheezy at the end, but that's a typical downfall of the "family" movie.
If you ever watch Reno! 911, you may be interested to know that two of the guys from that show are co-writers of Night at the Museum. It has Paul Rudd in it, who is always hilarious, and Ricky Gervais has never done anything that doesn't just kill me.
Really, go see it. You won't be sorry. _________________ --------

Ok. weird question. It doesn't have to do with the movie, but is the avitar on the tenth from the left on the bottom row "Roy" or Ricky Gervais? It looks an awful lot like Ricky to be Roy. Just wondering. _________________ Great Scott! |

according to this thread it's Roy ... does kind of look like Ricky when he has a beard for the office though |

I didn't see Ed Helms in there either. I don't think he has a part. But Gervaisewas awesome. He wasn't in it a ton, but he did an awesome job.
For the first 20 minutes of the show I was kind of regretting the decision to go. The litle boy in the movie was a HORRIBLE actor. But, a little in to it, it picked up and my wife and I ended up liking it a ton. Owen Wilson is very funny in it. |

A lot of people are annoyed by Owen Wilson, but I really like him. I never saw You, Me, and Dupree, and I don't think I will, but everything else he's been in has been great. Especially wedding crashers and the movies with him and Jackie Chan. _________________ http://www.OfficeQuotes.us

| I think this is the perfect movie to take a kid to..its got like cheesy family-ness for the kids and a really good cast - Ben Stiller, Dick van Dyke, Robin William, etc,etc,etc... and of course Ricky Gervais was the greatest.. if Ed Helms was in it, it would have been awesome! |

Yeah, I think it was a great movie. Ricky Gervais was kinda funny but sorta a wet blanket. Still a great actor. I did not see Ed Helms in it though, which is too bad. That woulda been great. _________________ And she was better than all the other ho’s in the world. And then…and then suddenly she’s not yo' ho...NO MO’. |

I saw the movie and thought it was cute. A good family movie, for sure. I LOVED Ricky Gervais in this movie because I really felt like his part was similar to David Brent... He had this line where he made fun of Ben Stiller, "Oh, look at me! I'm the funny night guard!" that felt like it came right out of the British Office, and there were a few scenes with him where there was a bit of awkwardness and pausing, David Brent style. I thought it was great! _________________ Can you keep it down? I'm in session. |

I really enjoyed the movie, too. It was pretty funny, especially to see all of those actors in non-traditional roles. I'd have to say that Owen Wilson made that movie in the old West scene. It was great when they were trying to blast a hole in the mountain. _________________ "I hate so much about the things that you choose to be." - Michael Scott |

My friend and I went to go see the movie before school started up again and I loved it!! The roman guy and the cowboy were my highlights. There were some parts that were just a bit too 'family-movie' esque, but it was fun and entertaining I'd recommend it! |

It was definitely a fun movie to see. Not *too* predictable despite the strong family messages in it. I still had fun seeing it with my son. =) _________________ roniabirk, confirmed media junkie
