This will be really interesting to see how Angela Kinsey plays this new role. Will she be the neurotic, uptight "Office" Angela that we all know and love? Or, is her character radically different? ...  ...
I haven't seen an entire episode of Mindy Kaling's new show; only snippets. Mindy seems to be quite "Kell-y"-ish, constantly dishing her cultural-reference-heavy brand of snark. Am I wrong here? Is there more to her new character?
Wouldn't it be funny if Creed lands a new role as something like a serious, dedicated police detective who is always several steps ahead of the bad guys and his fellow officers? That would be jarring.  |

I haven't seen any of Mindy's new show. At first glance, it doesn't seem like a show that would interest me. But for the sake of Mindy, I should at least try to watch it. I'll have to see what night it's on.

It's on Tuesday's after New Girl. Mindy's character is in fact very Kelly-ish, the weird twist is that she's an OB/GYN (if you can believe it) and often butts heads with her fellow doctors (creating the sexual tension of the show). There really isn't anything that great about The Mindy Project and I'd be surprised if the show gets picked up for another season. Guess who's a consulting producer though? You guessed it, B.J. Novak.
I really hope Angela's new project works out for her. She's really a fun-loving person and it would be nice to see her be able to bring some of her true personality to a role. |

Yeah HDF, it really doesn't interest me to even check it out, but I probably will at some point (hopefully before it's cancelled) just for the love of Kelly Kapour. I want it to succeed, but it doesn't seem like my cup of tea.
And as for Angela, I'd love to see her play a character more true to her crazy, bubbly personality. She seems like a very funny woman. We know she's funny as uptight Angela on The Office. It would be great to see her in another more outgoing role.
